This month we talk to Drew Hayes, one of our service engineers, as he tells us what it’s like to be part of Aspect Scientific’s “legendary PM team”.
“I enjoy making sure that the customers are happy, and that they know when I’ve left that everything is within spec and there is little chance of a future breakdown.”
How long have you worked at Aspect and what’s involved with your day-to-day role?
I have been with Aspect Scientific for 16 months now. As part of Aspects legendary PM team, my days are spent making sure our customers equipment is kept in top notch order by performing regular preventative maintenance and upgrades.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoy making sure that the customers are happy, and that they know when I’ve left that everything is within spec and there is little chance of a future breakdown.
What do you find most challenging?
The time requirements for some of the work to be completed as to not impact the customer providing their service, well that and the driving, there can sometimes be a fair amount of windscreen time being an engineer.
Do you feel the company’s services/products and your role have a positive impact on healthcare, and how does this make you feel?
We know when we go in for a repair, that this device will be used to determine the course of someone’s medical care, it is a great responsibility that we all take very seriously.
Aspect as a company fills such an important segment of the medical industry, it’s been such a pleasure to work for them.
