Mike discusses what he enjoys most about his role as our Quality Assurance Specialist, what he finds most challenging, and how he feels we positively impact the healthcare world.
How long have you worked at Aspect and what’s involved with your day-to-day role?
It will be 2 years this April. My day-to-day role includes the managing and maintaining of our QMS (Quality Management System) focusing on ISO 9001 compliance. This includes a daily focus on documentation, policies, procedures, corrective actions, auditing, and continually seeking out opportunities to enhance overall quality within the business (Continuous Improvement).
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Being busy and helping to move the business forward to achieving its strategic quality goals.
What do you find most challenging and how does the company tackle these challenges?
It’s sometimes a challenge to cover all the aspects within Quality Assurance. However, working as a team we tackle any issues head on and strive to get the job done.

How has the company and your role developed over recent years and what has been the impact of this?
I’ve seen the company develop over the last 2 years with a heavy commitment to Improving and moving forward. My role has certainly developed to align with the companies’ objectives and goals. This has had a positive impact on our Quality Assurance objectives.
Do you feel the company’s services / products and your role have an impact on healthcare, why and how does this make you feel?
Yes, absolutely. Being part of an overall team influencing the impact on healthcare is a great feeling.
